Chateau D'Arsac-2016The Seigneury of Arsac was one of the oldest in the Mdoc, first owned by Guillaume Graud dArsac in the early 12th century. Chteau dArsacs history had several Bordeaux bourgeois including famous Ernest Dubosc who transformed it around 1880 into the largest winegrowing estate in the Mdoc. In modern times, since 1986 Chteau dArsac has been restored to its former glory and also promoted to the Margaux appellation (54 hectares) with Cru Bourgeois
