RoosterRoosters: Roosters are magnificent animals, they have been used in weathervanes for centuries. Mine are made from reclaimed old Pine floor boards. In Christian tradition, the rooster is the symbol of Christ, light and resurrection. As Christ, the rooster announces the light that follows the night. It can be found in weather vanes on top of church crosses and cathedral towers, remembering and marking this place as a sanctuary with Saviour in situ. I
